Zooey Harris was born in Stockholm, Sweden, and is the mother of
two.
On leaving school her love of horses led her to train as a saddler.
Soon realising that life held unlimited potential, Zooey moved to
working in several diverse areas including advertising, the music
industry as a stylist, and also as a qualified fitness instructor
and lecturer. Zooey still found the time to become an accomplished
horsewoman and has taught many through the British Horse Society
(Pony Club).
Before branching out into her businesses, Zooey worked with Lifetime
Health & Fitness, a teacher-training organisation. Here she
managed “The London Tutor Team”, and was responsible
for gaining nationwide contracts for NVQ government funded and European
Social Funded training. As Business Development Manager, Zooey led
the logistics behind the development of Lifetime’s pilot schemes,
which were ultimately rolled out nationwide.
Using the skills she had developed in helping others to achieve
their goals, Zooey soon realised that it was time to branch out and
develop her own ideas. With a passion for design and a keen eye for
sound investment strategies Zooey and her business partner set up
their own property development company in 2000. The partnership has
successfully developed a wide range of properties and in addition
works with other developers on a consultancy basis.
Zooey is currently consulting for a high-end interior design firm
(based in Notting Hill), to develop a worldwide client base. She
advises and implements clear working practices for budgeting, marketing,
staffing, communication and time management, and also helps to drive
each project forward while making sure that deadlines are met and
budgets are not exceeded.
As a Business and Personal Development Consultant and Trainer Zooey
continues to inspire and motivate individuals and businesses. Her
time is split between property development, consultancy and training.
She is also developing ideas for television with Sam Richards and
Dr Tanya Byron (of Little Angels and House of Tiny Tearaways fame)
with their production company The Doris Partnership.
